Art of God
I ran across a friends blog that brought up the perception of beauty. Anyone is has discussed this with me knows I think a little different about this than most people. In my youth I bought into the idea that the outside defines beauty. Though quickly I realised that some pretty people acted ugly. I couldn't see them in the same light anymore. They looked ugly to me. Thinking about this I realised it was meant to be this way. That beauty really wasn't defined by the outside but by the whole. That even the people that I had learned as a child were unattractive in relationship could be more beautiful than the the most famous supermodel. I thought about this as Jesus eyes. He never seemed to waste time on appearance, he looked at people's hearts.
Since this time I also realised that our differences are like a painting's. We are this interesting and beautiful mixture of of God's art. There are even those special enough to be very different. You know We can see the beauty in the abstract when it comes to art and even impressionism. I think one of our greatest losses in world culture is our inability to see God's handiwork in the faces, bodies, and skin of the people around us.
Big is beautiful
Skinny is beautiful
Short and Tall is beautiful
Different is beautiful
Most importantly the most important thing that determines beauty is the spirit. Have you looked beautiful today.

I love the ability you have, Ryan, to see people for who they really are. You do not judge people or lable...thanks for being such a great example to me by loving everyone.

thank you its easier to not judge when you have made really bad choices in your life... Because you know it easy to fall.... The sad thing is even though, i've fallen down spiritually so many times I still struggle with judgement. I think its one of those works in progress

funny how it's difficult to accept waht you say though Ryan. Some have it worse than others. i'm only an 11 and i feel like a moose. and i'm not. i'm simply average with a twist of athleticism...(a small twist)

Tanya you are so right it is hard to except different programming than we get everyday by soceity. Think if you were told and explained a concept everyday. If someone tried to tell you different it would be hard to believe. Racism/hate works this way and you see how even in today's soceity it runs rampant.
